Are there any additional costs?
Squarespace is a very flexible platform but occasionally you may want to go beyond what it offers out of the box. Any extra customisations may mean a small extra charge, but we'd discuss this in advance.
In addition to my costs, you will also need to sign up for a Squarespace plan which includes hosting and updates. I can help you to choose the right plan and also get you 20% off in your first year.
If you don't already have one, you will also need a website domain. If all this talk of hosting and domains is confusing you, head on over to my jargon-busting blog post which explains these terms.
Online Shop
If you need to create a website which allows you to sell your products then go for this option. You can offer digital downloads, subscriptions, services such consultancy, or physical products.
Website Refresh
If you do already have a website that isn't working for you, I'll create a refreshed and updated version on Squarespace.
Starter Website
If you're setting up a new business or project and need a simple but professional web presence to take you to the next level, choose this option.
How it works
In order to give your project the time and attention it deserves, I only take on a limited number of projects per month.
You book a slot for me to start building your website and as long as I've got all the relevant information we can go live 6-8 weeks later.
Don't worry, there's plenty of preparation work that you can do so that I can hit the ground running at the start of your booked slot.
My next availability for a full website build is from April 2020.

What happens next?
Get in touch with me to discuss your requirements, make sure Squarespace is the right platform for you, and confirm costs
I'll put together a simple contract that you can sign electronically to outline our responsibilities; this will also include timescales and milestones
I'll also send you an invoice for an initial payment of 50% which you can pay by bank transfer, or online with a credit or debit card
Once you've paid the invoice and signed the contract, we'll schedule a call to go through your website goals and confirm deadlines
You'll then gather the relevant information including your logo and branding, images, content for the pages and login details
I'll crack on with building the website, giving you regular weekly updates and a password-protected link so you can see it taking shape
